Black Clover chapter 243 came out recently. It shows Asta in his enraged devil form attacking Dante mindlessly. Everyone else is trying to save Gauche, who is on his last breath.

Dante’s devil was also revealed — Lucifer, one of the high ranking devils. According to Lucifer, Asta’s devil is a low-ranking one and probably insignificant. By the end of the chapter, Asta manages to leave a wound on Dante which makes Dante.

3. Chapter 242 Plot

Chapter 242, titled “Humans and Evil,” starts with Dante accessing 50% of the devil’s power. With devil’s prowess and devil magic, he defeats Asta and Gauche’s combined attack by warping the space itself.

He then defeats Vanessa’s Red Thread of Fate — Rouge, just by amping the power up to 60%, which shows the insane difference between the power of humans, witches, and the devils!

When lectured by Asta on being a human and devil-holder, Dante uses his gravity magic to craft a sword out of Earth and delivers a fatal blow to Gauche.

This enrages Asta to the point that he amps up his own devil powers resulting in two more horns on his head.
