Chapter 338 of Black Clover introduces us to Yami’s younger sister and also to a new power system. The first significant section of the final arc has begun as Asta gets ready to make a comeback.

Asta’s connection with Liebe allows anti-magic to flow inside his body. He then tries doing the same with a bamboo, which withers in a straight line. This causes Asta to become more optimistic about becoming stronger.

I anticipate that the ongoing conflict will last for a while, followed by a rather brief training arc. Asta might ask Ichika to train him and could spend time trying to convince her, especially since she doesn’t like men like Asta.

When Asta realized he was in Yami’s country, he got worried about returning home. Ryuya gave assured him that Lucius would not act any time soon. Ryuya confirmed that a shogun is a position equal to the Wizard King.
Asta saw that the Shogun did not appear to be particularly powerful based on the absence of magic abilities in his Ki. Ryuya didn’t take offense, but Ichika, his guard, was furious and warned the young man to treat the Shogun with respect.
Asta was taken on a tour of a neighboring town by Ryuya, who explained that the residents of Hino employ scrolls rather than grimoires to summon Yojutsu (sorcery) rather than magic. Yoryoku is the name of the magical power, which is comparable to Mana.
As he observed a couple of siblings purchasing nomotatoes in the market, Asta was brought back to his and Yuno’s youth with Sister Lily and to her recent change at the hands of Lucius. In the meantime, Ryuya led the kids away from the main path, seemingly at random.
The location where the siblings were standing, however, was destroyed when some bandits quickly stormed the market. Asta came to the conclusion that the Shogun’s all-seeing eye had predicted this.
Ryuya admitted that, like Asta, he had no Yoryoku at all and gave Ichika the opportunity to defend him. The robbers undervalued the girl, but Asta noticed that her Ki was extremely potent and familiar. Ichika was able to easily defeat all of the bandits using her sorcery.
The people referred to her as “Lady Yami” and “one of the Ryuzen Seven,” and they applauded and hailed her. Asta was made aware by Ryuya that Ichika was Sukehiro’s younger sister.
He told the boy that training with the Seven Dragons was the only way to acquire a real power-up, but Ichika flatly said that she hated men like Asta.
