Just when Nacht was about to get a free rollercoaster ride from Lucifero’s attack, Yami interferes and saves him. In chapter 322 of Black Clover, the Black Bulls’ captain is back, and fans’ joy knows no bounds.
Yami has been missing from the manga’s pages ever since he got kidnapped, and although he had briefly appeared, it couldn’t fill up fans’ appetites.
Only in the latest chapter could we see Yami back to his energetic self. I doubt how much energy the captain has left due to the Tree of Qliphoth draining him like a parasite, but he looks ready to battle Lucifero.
Yami blocked Lucifero’s strike with what looked like a sword made of wood. It is entirely possible that William made that sword with his world tree magic, and Yami has infused it with dark magic.
If the sword combines both the magic trends, then the next chapter might show what new things it can achieve. Fans speculate that the blade can slash open a direct portal to the underworld, which is how Lucifero can be banished.
Chapter 323 will definitely give us a Yami Vs. Lucifero showdown. Yuno and Mereoleona might also help him, but I hope Mereoleona doesn’t exert herself too much. Asta is also bound to battle the devil again.
Can Yami irritate Lucifero enough for him to change targets? The devil’s slapping spree is still ongoing, and I hope Yami can keep up with it till his favorite pupil joins him on the stage.
