Lucifero and Moris Become the Final Boss of Black Clover in Ch 311

The tide has suddenly turned in chapter 311 of Black Clover because the Dark Triad is no longer the biggest threat.

After Magna, Noelle and Yuno got their time to shine, I was wondering who would be pitted against Asta. It looks like Tabata-sensei saved the best (read worst) for last.

Well, I guess Lucifero would’ve made his appearance one time or the other, and he has been introduced at the perfect time. I am a bit peeved about how Yuno and Zenon’s battle climaxed, but hey, gotta make space for the new villain on the block.

Lucifero is one of the three rulers of the underworld and has an undoubtedly high rank. The second door of the Tree of Qliphoth needs to be opened for him to manifest completely.

So how does he cause chaos in the world till then? By occupying Moris’ body, of course. That guy was fishy from the beginning, and I’m glad all fan predictions about him are coming true. He is fishy to the point that the ultimate devil, Lucifero sings his praise. Now you can calculate how messed up a person needs to be to earn a devil king’s approval, right?

So now, the Dark Triad is no longer needed for the Tree of Qliphoth to work. As long as the cores of Yami and Vengeance are working, the highway to hell will remain open for business.

As soon as Lucifero emerges in his real body, he will unleash chaos on the human kingdom. So I guess Asta’s matchup is fixed. Now the question that remains is whether Moris and Lucifero will be defeated before the second gate opens, or will the magic knights have to face a hoard of devils?
