Langris takes the spotlight in the chapter as he finally accepts Yuno as his vice-captain and decides to aid him with all sincerity. In fact, the way both Yuno and Langris support each other washes away all their past clashes.

Yuno, although a cheerful and bright fellow overall, used to possess the arrogance that came with nobles. He even looked down upon Yuno multiple times and disregarded him because of his lower status.

The current Langris is ready to cover for Yuno and buys time to help him prepare the Spirit of Euros. In turn, Yuno also eggs him on to not lose against Zenon.

Langris remembers the time when Yuno had just joined the Golden Dawn and seemed like a presumptuous mage, yet it was his power that spurred on the team.

He acknowledges Yuno as the vice-captain of the Golden Dawn, thus forfeiting his former position. This seems like an acceptance of sorts, Yuno might have worked his way to the vice-captain spot, but this acceptance from Langris feels like everything is falling into place.

Both Langris and Yuno have squabbled in the past due to their similar personalities, as both hated losing. Yet, now they have reached an understanding of sorts that will make their camaraderie even stronger.

Langris shows his Mana Zone, which could even resist Zenon for some time, thus providing enough time for Yuno to prepare his ultimate attack.

Zenon will definitely be defeated, but will both the mages be safe till then? It will be a race to see who produces the decisive attack first.
