Billions Season 6 Episode 6 Recap
The episode starts with Prince showing Governor Sweeney one of the flashy, high-tech train cars he’s bringing to New York City as part of his Olympics initiative.
The Transport Union doesn’t take this news well and appeals to Rhoades to do the same for them as he did for the doormen as this railcar initiative would put a thousand men out of work.
Dave reaches out to Kate to get her thoughts on some of the unfinished cases but she really just wanted to open a line of communication with her predecessor so she can understand what the opponent’s strategy is.
Scooter and Wags advise Prince to bring in more money for the railcar initiative and Prince considers selectively opening up the ‘Prince List.’
Leon, an ex-NFL player and business tycoon is the first to become part of the Prince List. However, he threatens to pull out when he learns that Union, including the NYPD, also made the list.
Prince also really wants his Alma Mater, Indiana A&M to be onboard the list and makes a pitch to the board.
Meanwhile, Taylor tries to bring Leon onboard but he maintains his stance and states his money will not be put into anything that supports the carceral system.
Taylor then makes a play, rendering him and his company irrelevant so he can’t persuade the other investors on the Prince list.
