Billions S6: Is Wendy Planning on Ruining Both Mike and Chuck?

Wendy has been on her own track this season of Billions, and some maneuvers come across as utter surprises.

Like in the latest episode when we find out that she is not only writing a book, but has also already finished it! What’s more, it seems like Mike Prince maybe the book’s key subject.

So what exactly is Wendy up to in Billions S6?

In Billions S6 Ep 10, Wendy is seen writing a book which could be a psychological take on the personalities of Mike Prince or/and Chuck Rhoades.

I feel like we need a little recap. Wendy continued to be the team’s performance coach, even when Mike took the power seat.

But the latter soon gauges that she’s not really that interested in money or power. (Her tryst with the Buddhist monk and Eastern teachings indicates the same).

In Episode 10, Wendy spends the entire day shadowing Mike and trying to get inside his head. When she interrogates him about why he got Chuck out of a job (in the previous episode), Mike thinks this line of questioning is personal.

But without giving away why she’s digging into his actions, Wendy clears out it isn’t for the reasons Mike thinks it is.

We see that Mike is right in theorizing that Wendy isn’t staying with Prince Capital for any tangible, conventional compensation.

Towards the end of the episode when she makes a call and talks about completing a manuscript with all the information she has collected that day (the same day as her deep conversations with Mike), it’s almost like a puzzle piece fitting in—is this book the reason why Wendy is working with Prince Capital?

Given that nothing about this manuscript has been revealed, I can only assume that Wendy is authoring a psychological take on the likes of Mike Prince and what drove the once “ethical” billionaire to be absolutely obsessed with the Olympic bid and his revenge on Chuck thereafter.

Why did I include Chuck as another speculated subject in Wendy’s book? It’s impossible not to. Being the keen psychologist she is, I’m surprised that Wendy hasn’t dissected Chuck’s life and personality earlier.

But it could very well be in this book. After all, she couldn’t have missed seeing how he snapped recently when Mike won the Olympic bid.

If Chuck and Mike’s wrestle for power is interesting to watch on-screen, I can only imagine how fascinating it would be to have this tug of war broken down in a book. If this is indeed true, Chuck and Mike’s reputation may be at a risk.
