Book lovers tend to live in their own world, but sooner than later, they have to bounce back to reality whether they like it or not. As such, fate was not kind to Elianna, the Bibliophile Princess, whose ideal fantasy was cruelly broken by none other than true love.
Elianna had been living her ideal life with access to millions of books while also having ample time to read them. All this was thanks to Prince Christopher, who made her his fiancee in the name just to keep relatives at bay.
Soon the bibliophile’s peace became chaotic when she saw another woman with the prince and felt love and jealousy for the first time.
Bibliophile Princess anime’s latest trailer gives us a glimpse into Elianna’s journey to realizing her true feelings and embracing them.
The trailer also previews the anime’s opening theme song, ‘Prologue’ by Yuka Iguchi. That sounds like an apt name for a romance based around books, right?
Besides the song, the trailer is a rollercoaster ride of emotions that shows Elianna realizing her love for Christopher and fighting for it. However, it won’t be an easy task as there’s someone else competing for the prince’s affection.
Irene is not just competing but also trying to sabotage the relationship between the prince and Elianna by accusing her of various crimes. What Irene doesn’t realize is that everyone knows if Eli had the time to plan evil schemes, she would much rather be buried in a book.

Bibliophile Princess is a light novel series by Yui which was serialized from 2015 to 2022. It has also received a manga adaptation which is illustrated by Yui.
The plot follows Elianne, a bookworm who is engaged to the prince of the country. She thinks that it is a marriage of convenience, and the prince lets her read books in the palace to her heart’s content. Suddenly she feels like her position in the palace as well as in the prince’s heart is in danger.
