The only thing that stands out about her is her love of books. She’s a good person, kindhearted and gentle, but she doesn’t seem to have any distinctive traits.
Elianna is surrounded by many handsome men: Alexei, Glen, Theodore, etc. What does she plan on doing with her reverse harem? There’s no doubt Lady Irene is famous, but I wonder if she’ll cause trouble. The castle seems to be going through some turmoil, but Elianna is the only one who isn’t informed.

Episode 2 Speculation
Having Prince Christopher propose to Elianna and grant her access to the Royal Archives makes Lady Irene jealous. Lady Irene will attempt to separate them in future episodes since she cannot see them together, so she loses her mind.
Lady Irene will do anything to harm Elianna, so she must stay cautious. I am looking forward to seeing what type of strategies she develops.

Episode 1 Recap
This story follows the main character, a considerable bibliophile who accepts the Prince’s proposal to marry him because he promised to give her access to the Royal Archives.
Since Elianna’s family isn’t aligned with any faction, and Christopher doesn’t want any drama, this could seem like a marriage of convenience for him. From the beginning, I believe Christopher has fallen in love with Elianna and is doing this to gain her attention.
He didn’t have to go to that much trouble to get her that book. Since she already has all the books she can read, he doesn’t need to appease her if it’s just a convenient marriage.
They knew each other from a young age, and Christopher likely fell in love with Elianna back then, but Elianna probably forgot who the boy was since she was too busy with her books.
Despite its short length, this episode had a solid second half. As soon as Irene was introduced, the tone changed. We’ll learn more about what happened to Irene during that soiree and why everyone suddenly felt distant from each other after Elianna was oblivious to some things going on in the background.
I think the idea that Irene will replace Eliana isn’t likely to happen soon. Before judging, I will wait for their side of the story. It seems to be one of those things that can easily be misunderstood.
I’m happy with the progress so far. As beautiful as everyone and everything on this show are, I didn’t expect this kind of show from Madhouse.

Bibliophile Princess is a light novel series by Yui which was serialized from 2015 to 2022. It has also received a manga adaptation which is illustrated by Yui.
The plot follows Elianne, a bookworm who is engaged to the prince of the country. She thinks that it is a marriage of convenience, and the prince lets her read books in the palace to her heart’s content.
