There are several hidden locations in Black Myth: Wukong. These areas usually require some sort of a side quest to unlock. The Bishui Cave in Chapter 5 is one such secret area. If you think you can just stumble upon this area, you might be disappointed. It is not as easy to unlock this location. After all, this is Black Myth: Wukong.
How to unlock Bishui Cave in Chapter 5?
In Chapter 5, you will reach a point where you have to dodge a giant spiked metal ball by staying on either side of the road. After reaching the end of the road, a cutscene will play featuring Zhu Bajie and Pingpong. After that, you need to defeat Rusty-Gold Cart. Doing so will unlock the Bishui Cave area.
At the very beginning of Chapter 5, you will encounter Pale-Axe Stalwart. However, after defeating him, the two of you will strike up a conversation. Pale-Axe will talk about his objective to destroy all five elements. Thus, triggering a new quest for you.
The Pale-Axe quest involving the three carts – Brown-Iron Cart, Gray-Bronze Cart, and Crimson-Silver Cart, are part of the main storyline. You will encounter each of these bosses throughout the story. Brown-Iron Cart can be found right nearby after the cutscene wraps up.
After defeating all three cart bosses, teleport to Ashen Pass I Keeper’s Shrine in Woods of Ember.
Interact with him and then go back to the Keeper’s Shrine. Select ‘Rest’ to teleport Pale-Axe to the next location.
Pale-Axe will be by the arena where you fought Crimson-Silver Cart. So, teleport to the Emerald Hall Keeper’s Shrine and proceed on the road leading up the hill.
Interact with Pale-Axe Stalwart to move to the final spot.
You need to teleport to the Fallen Furnace Crater Keeper’s Shrine in Field of Fire. Once there, go down the hill until you reach a left turn.
Upon going a little further ahead, you will encounter Flint Vanguard. Defeat him and find the Cooling Slope Keeper’s Shrine.
Stand near the shrine and look for a frozen door far off in the distance.
As you move towards this door, a cutscene will begin showing Rusty-Gold Cart and Pale-Axe Stalwart involved in a heated fight.
After the cutscene is over, your fight with Rusty-Gold Cart will begin.
Upon defeating Rusty-Gold Cart, you will receive the Flame Orb accessory.
Interact with the frozen door and it will take you to a shady, dark plane. Keep going ahead and you will be finally taken to Bishui Cave.
