A Detailed Guide to the Best Weapons for a Faith Build in Elden Ring

Elden Ring is an open-world RPG in which gamers can select different classes and playstyles with varying stats for their adventurous and mysterious journey throughout the Lands Between. Faith is one such significant character attribute/stat that affects classes and their gameplay. It generally makes a class better in sorcerer playstyle, allowing players to cast powerful magic and spell.

Still, the strength of such a Faith-based player and their build is not limited to sorcery spells available in the game, but they can even use some stunning close and long-range weapons that scale best with Faith and do more damage depending upon the amount of the attribute points.

Blasphemous Blade is the best weapon for a Faith-based build in Elden Ring because it deals a devastating physical damage and fire damage simultaneously. It can be acquired by trading Remembrance of the Blasphemous with Enia at Roundtable Hold.

Note: Players need at least STR 22, DEX 15, and FAI 21 to wield Blasphemous Blade.

Players can get Remembrance of the Blasphemous by defeating the boss Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy, at the top of Mt. Gelmir in the Atlus Plateau region.

This Greatsword scales best with Strength, Dexterity, and Faith. It also has a sly weapon skill called ‘Taker’s Flames’ that lets you steal HP from enemies you attack. All these unique abilities surely make Blasphemous Blade the best choice of weapon for any player of a Faith-based class.

As mentioned earlier, the Blasphemous Blade is a mid to late game weapon that can’t be used by everyone, so here are a few more great Faith-based weapons you can acquire in Elden Ring:

1. Gargoyle’s Blackblade

Cipher Pata is another great dual-wielding weapon for a pure Faith-based build in Elden Ring as it scales at a C grade rating with Faith and deals 85+ Holy damage. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do any physical damage, but it has a powerful ability called ‘Unblockable Blade’ that prevents enemies from blocking a powerful lunge attack. Additionally, it requires 30 Faith to wield it.

Cipher Pata is found in the Roundtable Hold. Walk up the central stairs and jump off the balcony to enter a large room. Head through the door on the far-left to find a corpse holding Cipher Pata.

Coded Sword is similar to Cipher Pata in stats and unique ability, but it has a B grade scaling with Faith, and players require only 20 Faith to wield it. Still, Cipher Pata offers better holy defense and is negligible in weight, making it an equally good choice.

The Coded Sword is located in Leyndell, Royal Capital. You can find it on a table inside an abandoned horse stable in the overworld.
