Maybe they invoke a weird nostalgia in all of us or maybe they give us something we long for, something we may never have. No matter which one it is, it is clear to see why we find romance anime appealing. With the rise of Netflix, fulfilling our lovey-dovey hunger has never been easier.
Even with the existence of anime-specific streaming services, Netflix has had the most impact on how people watch anime. I often find myself watching something I never would have watched on Netflix just because of mere convenience.
With anime becoming more mainstream than ever, Netflix’s rise in Sphere of anime has been very apparent, especially when it offers dubs of many of our favorite series.
Given all that, here are the best romance anime on Netflix that you can watch dubbed.
10 High Score Girl
High Score Girl
Air Date: July 14, 2018 Status: Airing Studio: J.C.Staff No. of Seasons: 2 No. of Episodes: 21Although High Score Girl does not offer anything extraordinary story-wise, the setting is what makes it truly engaging. This series is a love letter to the 90s video game culture, with many obscure and obvious references to many retro video games. If you are familiar with that culture, this series is surely going to give you a heavy dose of nostalgia.

BEASTARS
Air Date: October 10, 2019 Status: Upcoming Season 3 Studio: Orange No. of Seasons: 2 No. of Episodes: 24The series discovers the dynamics between herbivores and carnivores in an anthropomorphic animal world. I personally enjoy the portrayal of Legoshi’s internal conflict while discovering his feelings for Haru. Also, this is probably the only anime where the use of CG is actually good.
The story takes place in a world of anthropomorphic animals, where Legoshi, a grey wolf is a student at the Cherryton Academy high school. He is a part of the drama club, where an alpaca is murdered which causes cold conflict between herbivore and carnivore students.
One day, Legoshi meets Haru, a small rabbit who is in love with Louis, a red deer who is the front runner for the title of “Beastar”. This encounter leads him to develop complex feelings towards Haru in a world where there potential relationship is forbidden.

3 Toradora
Toradora!
Air Date: October 2, 2008 Status: Finished Studio: J.C.Staff No. of Seasons: 1 No. of Episodes: 24This is one of the few series where the slow build-up to the main romance is actually worth it. Although Ryuji and Taiga interact throughout the series, they do not discover the true nature of their relationship until the very end of the show. I find this especially refreshing as the discovery is especially rewarding, given the buildup throughout the run of the show.
Ryuji Takasu is a second-year high school student with an intimidating face, leading to people mistaking him as a delinquent despite his gentle nature. He is best friends with Yusaku Kitamura and Minori Kushieda, the girl he has a crush on.

2 Maid-Sama
Maid-Sama!

The series offers an excellent dynamic between its main characters along with some sweet wholesome moments. It’s hilarious overall and despite being full of cliches, I consider this a masterpiece.
Misaki Ayuzawa is the student council president of recently turned coed Seika Highschool. She is known as the Demon President across the school because of her hostility towards male students.
But she has a secret. She works at a Maid cafe in order to support her family, contrary to her behavior at school.
