Beastars Season 3 Netflix Renewal Status
Beastars season 3 has been officially confirmed by Studio Orange and is currently in production. Unfortunately, Studio Orange also stated that the third season will be the final one. Beastars season 3 is set to premiere in 2024 on Netflix.
What to expect from the third season of Beastars?
As the last season of Beastars, the anime will cover the remaining source material, which contains the following arcs;
- Chapters 100-123: Interspecies Relations
- Chapters 124-196 of Revenge of the Love Failure
Beastars’ third season will focus on the Interspecies Relations Arc, which takes place after Legoshi’s confrontation with Riz and spans chapters 100 to 123 of the manga.
The anime episode 24 missed portions of the manga between Riz’s loss and Legoshi’s conversation with Haru. So, while the third season may begin with the aftermath of Legoshi’s bouts, these events may be delivered through flashbacks instead.e
Legoshi will learn the hard way about his role in society as a carnivore when he decides to leave school and live freely.
Louis, who is recovering from a foot injury, will have his father plan his future, including the institution he will attend. This implies that Louis will not be returning to command The Shishigumi.
Meanwhile, Haru will continue her perplexing relationship/friendship with Legoshi, who continues to be afraid of going to the next step with the rabbit out of fear that his predatory tendencies may drive him to murder her.
Legoshi will also be watched over by the magnificent Beastar Yahya, who becomes interested in the grey wolf after learning about the events behind Legoshi’s fight with Riz.
Following the Interspecies-Relations storyline, the anime will start the Revenge of the Love Failure arc, in which Legoshi will fight the hybrid crime lord Melon after Yahya enlists Legoshi’s assistance in apprehending him.
How many manga chapters will season 3 cover?
So far, the anime series has covered around 100 of the manga’s entire 196 chapters. There are still 96 chapters to go.
The Interspecies Relations Arc spans manga chapters 100 to 123. Therefore we may expect season 3 to cover the whole arc in the first half. The remaining episodes should cover Beastars’ “Revenge of the Love Failure” storyline.
How many episodes will Season 3 have?
Beastars’ past two seasons each included twelve episodes. However, because the anime must cover the source material, we anticipate 24 episodes.
We also anticipate that the third season will be divided into two parts, with part one consisting of 12 episodes and covering the events of the Interspecies Relations Arc. Part 2 is expected to appear later, with an additional 12 episodes covering the story’s concluding arc, Revenge of the Love Failure.
