In the preview, Akira finds an item that looks similar to a modern-day smartphone. Heading further into the dark passage, Akira reaches a dense forest where all the participants are roaming around freely.
I am guessing squad play has just turned into a solo play battle royale survival mission. Despite the instruction of fighting all alone, Yuuri and Akira are seen teaming up once again while fighting some mysterious enemy.

Episode 4 Recap
Episode 4 continues with the match between Kirisaki and Sake, where Saeko catches Kirisaki off guard and hits him with her expanding marble at a very wrong place.
The next fight is between Akira and his mysterious opponent, Kitajima. We get to see flashbacks of his life, how he has always been a loser till the final day of his life.
Meanwhile, Akira decides to explore his ability and tests it on Kirisaki. This small act convinces everyone that Akira’s ability is to turn his arm into a cannon.
Much like Mr. Aizawa of My Hero Academia, Kitajima’s ability is to nullify his opponent’s ability. Akira had to distract him with his shoe and sneak behind Kitajima to find him off guard.
The final round was between Yuuri and the guy who used to stalk her while she was alive. She unleashes all her anger at once and finishes him off just in a single hit.
With that, Akira and his team clear Stage 2 of the tournament and are treated with delicious food as a reward.
Mion announces that that next round onwards, the contestants are going back to solo-play where each has to choose a separate path.
