In the preview, Saeko surrounds Kirisaki with a wall of boulders, hoping to can trap him inside it. Considering Kirisaki’s ability to cut through anything, I think he will easily break himself free.

We also get to see a glimpse of the next round of the squad battle, where Akira is seen unleashing his hand cannon ability against his opponent, which more or less confirms his victory.

Episode 3 Recap           

In Episode 3, Mion reveals that the contestants have to fight as a team of five in Roun 2. She gives them two hours to come up with a new team strategy against their opponent squad.

However, the announcement turns out to be a huge bluff, tempting the contestants to reveal their abilities to others. Thankfully, Akira decides not to trust anyone and hides his real ability from his teammate.

Coming to squad battle, each member has to defeat their opponent in a one-on-one battle, and the squad with the most numbers of wins shall win the round.

The first fight is between Satoru Sawatari and Rin Kashii. It turns out that Satoru is all big talk, as Rin easily defeats him with her vicious blades that pierce through Satoru’s chest.

Satoru’s gruesome death reminds everyone how serious these battles are. In the next fight between Kumagiri and Ringo, Ringo forfeits the match without even trying. She is well aware that there’s no way for her to defeat a pro wrestler just by copying one-tenth of someone’s ability.

The scoreline gets tied at 1-1, and the winner of the next round to give a lead to their team. Kirisaki Modoka of Akira’s team is up against Saeko Zokumyoin.
