In Episode 5 of “Banished from the Hero’s Party”,  Tisse told Red about the church’s attempt to reclaim the demon king’s airship. If they get into a conflict, it’s possible that they’ll find out that the former hero, Ruti Ragnason, is living here. This is a threat to Ruti’s wish to live a quiet life. So Red decided that he’d hand over the ship to them to protect his sister.

Danan was about to leave Zoltan too, so he requested Red to spar with him. After a bit of training, they went at it, and even though Red put up a fight, Danan still won. Later, they met Alert, their friend Theodora’s right-hand man, confirming their suspicion of Escarlata being Theodora. Albert warned them about Van.

2. Episode 6 Speculation

The whole world believes that the former hero, Ruti Ragnason, went missing while she lives her quiet life at Zoltan with her brother, Red. However, the peace is in danger since the new hero, Van, is headed toward Zoltan to claim authority over the former demon king’s airship. At the end of episode 5, he sets out to complete his mission. 

Red’s old friend Theodora, who’s using the name Escarlata now, is in charge of looking over Van. We can expect her to do something and delay his arrival in Zoltan, but she can’t stop him. With Albert’s help, Red now knows what’s coming for them, and being the strategist he is, he will surely prepare a plan to protect Ruti’s secret from being revealed.

3. Recap of Episode 5

After hearing about the church’s attempt to retrieve the demon king’s airship from Zoltan, Red decided to hand it over to them. He wanted to prioritize Ruti’s wish to live a calm life over anything else. The next day, he went to meet Danan, who would soon be released from the hospital. He asked Red to spar with him before he left Zoltan.

Red agreed to this request and started training for the fight since he had gotten rusty from not fighting for such a long time. He initially started to train alone, but later, Yarandrala proposed to help him train. The whole group, including Ruti and Tisse, went on a training camp, and on the way there, Danan joined them, too.

At the training camp, our heroes trained to their fullest and reminisced about the old times when they were still members of the hero’s party. Danan and Red talk about how the person named Escarlata had a high chance of being their old friend, Theodora. After a few days of training, the match between Danan and Red took place, and it goes without saying that Danan won.

After returning home, they met Albert, Escarlata/Theodora’s right-hand man. He warned them of the new hero, Van’s arrival at Zoltan. We saw Van enter a tavern where chaos broke out as a person murdered someone all of a sudden. Van went ahead and beheaded him without any hesitation, which shows the high chances of him getting corrupted in the future.
