Banished from the Hero’s Party Season 2 Ep 5: Release date, Speculation

In Episode 4 of “Banished from the Hero’s Party”, the first half of the episode focused on Ruti while the second half focused on Tisee. The episode’s main objective was to strengthen the bond between these two. In the first half, Ruti was constantly trying not to stick out and convince others that she was just an average adventurer.

She did quite a few random things that initially made no sense to Tisse or the viewers, but near the end of the episode, all the dots were connected. In the second half, Tisse fought with her fellow assassin, Kiggith Viper, who went rogue and was working for the church. She managed to defeat him but was upset seeing how much of a disgrace he had become.

2. Episode 5 Speculation

Now we know that the church’s objective is to capture the airship. For now, it’s just sitting on the outskirts of the Zoltan. The last episode didn’t give us much info to predict what might happen next, but the chaos regarding the airship definitely hasn’t died down. Kiggith Viper sent a false report to the church, which may mislead them down the road.

Hero Van is still on his way to Zoltan following the church’s order, and so is Arthur, Escarlata’s acquaintance. Episode 4 focused on Ruti trying to blend in with the townspeople as just another adventurer hiding her true identity. This may hint that she will soon meet Van and fail to keep her identity as the former hero a secret.

3. Recap of Episode 4

The episode started in an unusually normal way. Ruti woke up from sleep early in the morning, thanking God for this new way of life, a peaceful one.

She proceeded with her day as usual with nothing notable to talk about. The only thing worth mentioning is that when she checked on her herb farm, she found that some of the plants were dying.

She called Red for her help since she could not identify the problem herself. Red told her it was cold mold growing on the soil. The two of them solved the problem together, and that was all for that day. The next day started with Tisse, who decided to wake up late. Well, things did not go according to her plan as Ruti came and woke her up.

Ruti told Tisse that she needed her assistance for the day. Tisse got all fired up, thinking it would be an important mission, but all they did afterward was just what a normal person does. They had breakfast, took a bath, and then went first to the market and then to a farm.

On the farm, out of the blue, she told the farmer that there was a monster underground, and it could cause problems later. Upon hearing this, the farmer was a bit surprised, but Ruti suddenly punched the ground without any warning. This caused the giant worm to come out of the ground, and she split it in half with her bare hands.

Next, Ruti went to watch a play where one of the actors was possessed by a spirit. The two ended the day by eating dinner together. After this, we see the mysterious group of people Tisse encountered back in episode 3. The people were here on the church’s order. Shocking most of us, the team leader killed the other two himself.

He wanted to settle his “score” with Tisse so he couldn’t have the others report the anomalies to the church. The man was Kiggith Viper, Tisse’s fellow student in the assassin’s guild. After a fierce fight, Tisse managed to kill him. The next day, as she was burying him in the ground, she explained the whole situation to Ruti.

Banished from the Heroes’ Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside is a light novel series by Zappon and Yasumo. It will be getting an anime adaptation in 2021.
