If you don’t know already, Bushiroad’s media project BanG Dream! is making an anime film featuring their five-member rock band Roselia.
This gothic rock-inspired band is not your average cute J-Pop and you’ll probably fall in love with their amazing costumes.
BanG Dream! Episode of Roselia I: Yakusoku anime film is slated for an April 23rd, 2021 release and now there’s an awesome visual out to get us more pumped up.
Don’t you just love how the visual shows Yukina, Sayo, Lisa, Ako, and Rinko jamming it out on stage!
BanG Dream! Episode of Roselia I: Yakusoku is the first of the two-part anime film based on the BanG Dream! manga by Kou Nakamura, and guess what? – this anime film will finally reveal the origin story of our beloved Roselia band.
BanG Dream! Episode of Roselia II: Song I Am will also be released in 2021.

The official website just released some pre-cut images from the anime film for fans while they wait for the official movie’s release.

BanG Dream! has a handful of anime films lined up for 2021 and 2022. You can expect BanG Dream!’s first band Poppin’Party to be featured in an anime movie in 2022 soon.
But before that, we have two excellent films filled with Roselia goodness to enjoy. So, gather your light sticks and immerse yourself in this animated world of rock and J-pop!

BanG Dream! is a mix-media music franchise produced by Bushiroad in 2015. It first started as a manga and then adapted into an anime before forming bands to perform in concerts and creating mobile games.
The main cast of the BanG Dream! Comprises seven bands of five members each.
The protagonist of the series is the band Poppin Party, which debuted in 2015 followed by debuts of Afterglow, Pastel*Palettes, Roselia, Hello, Happy World!, Raise A Suilen, and Morfonica.
The members of the bands are the voice actors to the characters and hold concerts.
