Balance unlimited, an anime inspired by the novel “The Millionaire Detective” has come to conclusion with its final episode.
Which has obviously left many views anticipating whether they’ll get to see a new season. With a pretty good fan base, reviews and ratings around 7, one may expect to see a new season.

2. Season 2 Preview & Speculation
There’s no such official announcement of season two of Balance Unlimited yet.
Even though the anime was halted in July due to the covid pandemic, it eventually made a comeback again and has created an exceptionally good amount of fan base who are expecting and looking forward to another season.
Balance unlimited is inspired by a novel titled The Millionaire Detective, written by Yasutaka Tsutsui.
From what we can gather, the anime is not a complete rip off from the novel and if compared, it has more comedic elements compared to the novel and the originality still persists.
However, it is less likely to get another season at least for another two years or so!
3. Recap of the Season’s Finale (Episode 11)
Episode 11 titled, “All That Glitters is Not Gold,” begins with Daisuke and Haru following Shigemaru into the mansion. They both search through the mansion, discover the data on Allodium and find an underground train that leads to Daisuke’s mansion.
Then they see a figure of Shigemaru sitting inside but it turns out it was Daisuke’s grandma’s butler Hattori. Daisuke’s grandma, Kikuko admits that she wanted to keep allodium as a family’s secret to benefit their family.
Sayuri, Daisuke’s mother, wanted people to know about its existence, hence she was assassinated by Hattori under the orders of Kikuko and kept Shigemaru imprisoned for years.
Haru caught the butler who was running away but got shot on his leg in the process. Then he goes to Suzue to call for an ambulance.
Meanwhile, Daisuke was having a conversation with Kikuko and almost about to order Suzue to publicly release the data on allodium. But hesitates when Kikuko tells him how it could be used to create weapons of mass destruction.
Before that could happen, Haru trips and by mistake presses the button to release the data. Daisuke, astonished by the outcome, arrests Kikuko.
Two weeks later, Haru was recovering and refused to return to the first division and continued in Modern Crimes while Daisuke helped Shigemaru recover. Later, Daisuke gives HEUSC to the Morder Crimes department and they work more efficiently.
Allodium, because of becoming public, changes the world dramatically. It starts appearing on the black market. Daisuke and Haru work to prevent it’s power abuse.
Stopping another black market meeting, Haru ends up once more falling into the river Daisuke amused by it, watches Haru fall again, just like the first time they met!
