Balance UNLIMITED Episode 8: Release Date, Preview, Where to Watch

Balance Unlimited is a Japanese anime television series produced by Clover Works, directed by Tomohiko Ito and inspired by the novel “The Millionaire Detective” written by Yasutaka Tsutsui.

The plot revolves around Daisuke Kanbe, a detective with extraordinary assets is assigned to the Modern Crime Prevention Headquarters, where only those who have caused problems for the Metropolitan Police Department are sent.

There, Daisuke is partnered with Haru Katou. Haru is repulsed by Daisuke’s material ways, believing that money isn’t the answer for everything.

Challenging mysteries unfold in front of the two detectives, as they work together to solve them.

1. Episode 8 Release Date

Episode 8 of the Balance Unlimited anime, will be released on Thursday, September 3, 2020, 8:55 am PDT.  

The title of episode 8 was not revealed at the end of the previous episode.

I. Is Balance Unlimited on a Break This Week?

No, episode 8 of Balance Unlimited anime will be released as per its schedule; thus, no such delay is announced.

2. Episode 8 Preview & Speculation

The preview for Episode 8 was not shown at the end of episode 7. From the previous episodes we could see that both Kambe’s parents were scientists so they were probably involved in the experiment Kambe group was involved in.

How much does Grandma Kambe know about everything? Was she just protecting her son?

Did Shigemaru kill his wife? It’s awfully suspicious that she was living away from the mansion and then he was nowhere to be found after his wife’s murder until his suicide, but even that suicide was suspicious.

Maybe she had to be away from home because of what she knew and who she was hiding from, which wasn’t necessarily her husband but he knew where she was, so he visited her and he could be the mastermind behind all this.

All the questions will hopefully be answered as the new episode releases!

3. Recap of Episode 7

Episode 7 titled, “Money is the Root of All Evil,” begins with a flashback when Cho-san was a member of the First Investigation Division 19 years ago, he and Takei were assigned to investigate the murder of Daisuke’s mother, Sayuri.

At the time, Cho-san entered the Kambe residence to investigate, and Shigemaru, the head of the Kambe family, surfaced as a suspect in the case.

However, the investigative task force folded due to pressure from the top brass of the police, and Cho-san was demoted.

Now back to the present, after the mysterious death of Imura, the woman who Daisuke brought into the police station, Kato and Cho-san’s suspicions deepen, so they decide to enter the Kambe residence.

Upon going there now they are happy that Dasuike and  Kambe came and are exposing the culprits one by one. Haru asks what Dasuike is up to and he can’t solve a crime by killing the culprit.

Dasuike replied that he wants to learn the truth about his mother’s death that took place 19 years ago. He also thinks that Imura’s death is connected to the truth of his mother’s death.

Further, in the end of the episode we see that Takei, the chief of the investigation department getting caught for interfering in Sayuri’s murder case.

They also find out that Takei was about to make a call to Director Saiki in the projection world he was under.
