Bad Monkey – Episode 5 Ending Explained & Recap:

Apple TV Plus is currently airing Bad Monkey Episode 5, which gives away most of the main mystery. Nevertheless, even though it’s not a whodunit, the first five episodes maintain a sense of suspense thanks to a significant portion of the story centered around the alleged antagonist.

The episode “That Damn Arm Is Back,” centers on Vince Vaughn’s character Yancy, who escapes Nick / Christopher’s (Rob Delaney) attempt to kill him and ends up becoming a wanted man.

Meanwhile, a desperate Neville (Ronald Peet) contacts an old flame after his altercation with Egg in the previous episode. After accepting that she can no longer live on the run, Bonnie (Michelle Monaghan) leaves for the Keys.

Nick throws Yancy into the sea and pretends it was an accident in an attempt to kill him. Sadly for him, the plan backfires, and the next morning, Yancy finds himself in the adjacent property, arguing with the realtor in front of prospective clients and discovering the phone Nick inadvertently left behind. As he approaches Rosa to talk, he learns that Mendez is searching for him as a potential suspect in Israel’s death.

Rosa brings Yancy to her parent’s house to give him a place to hide for a while, but her mother makes him go. When Yancy can’t get into Nick’s phone, she excavates Nick’s severed arm to obtain his fingerprint. When Rosa gets there, she chastises him for abandoning her. After kissing, they run away from the cemetery as police officers swarm the area.

Neville contacts a past romantic partner to get him in front of her boss, the chief councilor, so he can turn over the USB device containing all of Nick’s transgressions, all while Egg is searching for him. But as it happens, the woman is working with Egg. Neville escapes, but he misplaces the USB stick.

Nick and Eve are moving permanently to the Bahamas’ Andros archipelago, the story’s secondary setting. Eve and Nick pay Caitlin a visit before departing, seemingly as a farewell.

Caitlin had purchased pricey furniture, informed her spouse that Nick was still alive, and made plans to see her father. Eve decides it’s time to face Caitlin and let her know what Nick values. Nick stays silent when she makes threats to kill Caitlin, even though his daughter asks him to intervene.

Rosa and Yancy identify the airport that Eve and Nick are using. Even though Nick tells her he is dead, Yancy informs Eve that he is alive before Nick and Eve can flee.
