III. Was Season 1 any good?
The story at times…can be very confusing. The plot makes sense as you watch more and go deeper into it. Since B: The Beginning is a crime drama mixed with supernatural components, a lot of concepts are mashed together.
There is a mystery on one hand while an ancient prophecy on the other. Both plotlines are given equal attention as both feature the 2 protagonists: Keith and KoKou.
Keith is an eccentric genius character, which makes him comparitively funny. He can solve puzzles easily and it is this that makes the viewers think, What will he do next?, Kokou is a bit gloomier, as compared to the bright Keith. He is a supernatural with a goal to achieve.
Watching a thriller show with gunfire, criminals, and dark despair, the bright scenes allow a breath of relief to the audience. This proves that the IMBD rating of 7.44 wasn’t for nothing, fans love this show.
