Azur Lane: Bisoku Zenshin takes us to the lively naval port of Azur Lane, known for its beautiful marine life and breathtaking view of the ocean.
The story follows four cheerful girls living in that exquisite location and enjoying life as it comes. However, these girls slowly but surely get into various frolicsomeness.
On Tuesday, the official website for the Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin! released a promotional video for their upcoming anime short. The anime will be broadcasted on Tokyo MX and BS11 from January 11.
The promotional video features the anime’s theme song “Longing for!”, by Emi Nitta. The ending theme titled “Mahiru-iro Siesta,” is performed by voice actor and singer Yui Sakakibara.
In the video, we get to see the four main characters- Javelin, Laffey, Ayanami, and Z23, enjoying the beautiful allure of the ocean paradise that lies in Azur Lane.
The anime is based on Hori’s four-panel manga with the same name, which was launched in April 2018. The official website also revealed the cast and staff information.

The main anime adaptation of Xiamen Yongshi’s Azur Lane smartphone game premiered in October 2019.
The original game is available for iOS and Android devices, where players collect early 20th century warships from various countries and fight each other.
However, the upcoming anime, Azur Lane: Bisoku Zenshin, has a totally different storyline from the game, with Azur Land being the only similarity between them.
The spin-off anime will follow the adventures of upbeat and cheerful Javelin and her friends – Laffey, Ayanami, and Z23. Not much information is revealed regarding the plot.
