The heir of the fastest exorcist ninja in existence, Soga discovers the whereabouts of the Ayakashi king Shirogane and moves to exorcise him since Matsuri isn’t doing his job. However, it is more complex than he seems, and the fight does not go as expected.

Suzu will likely become closer friends with Shirogane and have him begin considering sparing her entirely, although unlikely that he will change his mind so soon. Moreover, we may get more insight into the other exorcist clans since they know Shirogane’s existence.

Recap of Episode 3

Suzu sits in her room thinking about what she could do to fix her dilemma and decides to bake some Dango to offer Shirogane as a substitute for eating her. Meanwhile, Shirogane is constantly trying to steal the scroll.

He also talks with the grandpa; Matsuri has made food for the ayakashi. Suzu walks in on them fighting again and offers Shirogane the Dango, and he immediately falls in love with it.

As a child, Matsuri was afraid of all Ayakashi, but Suzu changed his viewpoint to the point that he idolized her. An Ayakashi’s presence makes them jump, and it leaves a feather in its escape.

Another exorcist ninja, Soga, who knew Matsuri from a past mission they teamed up, is now after his life. He recalls the task and his immense power during then compared to the state he is in now.

Soga finds Shirogane and immediately goes to attack him, and he flees at top speed. Matsuri chases after him and tries to get him to stop. Soga catches up to the cat and goes to finish him off, but Matsuri catches up.

Matsuri explains his situation to Suzu, the Ayakashi medium, and he tries to get him to understand the reason for his sparing Shirogane. He gets flustered in the middle of the fight and runs away for now.

Shirogane returns to Suzu and gets some treats as a reward, and she continues to try and build the friendship.
