Ayaka Episode 10: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

The fire dragon arises again in episode 9 of Ayaka, titled “This is No Laughing Matter.”

The episode followed all the generic tropes that needed to be followed in a situation like this. The island came under attack, and the elders told the young ones to leave the island, but they refused and went on to help them.

Yukito did what was expected of him. He refused to leave the island and went on to fight the fire dragon. Yukito is revealed to the water dragon, who was converted into a compressed file by his dad. Still, any of this fails to generate hype or excitement for the upcoming big fight.

2. Episode 10 Speculations

Yukito and his friends will provide aid to Haruaki and Aka in episode 10 of Ayaka, titled “I’ll Go With You.”

Well, it is time for the climax battle to begin. It was off to a lackluster start in the previous episode, but no climax fight gets exciting without the protagonist’s arrival.

There is nothing new expected to happen in the remaining three episodes. I think it will go the predictable route. I hope they will try something different in the climax fight.

3. Episode 9 Recap

The islands are threatened by a massive earthquake, followed by a volcanic eruption on the fourth island. Jingi leaves Yukito behind and vanishes without a trace.

All of the islands have been evacuated, leaving Momoko and Yukito behind. Momoko tells Yukito to get on an evacuating ship, but he wants to wait for Jingi.

The evacuation work continues while Ayaka security keeps its guard up for a possible Ara-Mitama attack. Haruaki shows up and asks Momoko to let him take Yukito with him. He tells Yukito the story behind his birth.

Haruaki tells him that his master Yanagi attempted to restore the power of the water dragon. In his attempt, he gave the water dragon a new life form. This means that Yukito is an embodiment of the water dragon.

It will take Yukito years to become the true version of himself. Haruaki tells him and his two students to evacuate the island with Momoko. Haruaki prepares to head for the fourth island to stop the disaster.

He takes his leave. Yukito is not ready to run away as he finally has a place to call home. The other two are not ready to defy their master. Ibara shows up, saying she agrees with Yukito, and asks him what they should do.

Haruaki reaches the island. Aka also shows up. Haruaki tells him to leave, but Aka refuses. The fire dragon arises and starts attacking them. Despite their efforts, they are unable to quiet it down.

Aka gets injured. While Haruaki carries him to a safe place, the dragon attacks, but Yukito and his friends show up to help them.

Ayaka is an original television anime by GoRA and Kind Records which is directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama at Studio Blanc.

The plot follows an orphan named Yukito Yanagi, who meets a disciple of his father. The man takes him to his birthplace on Ayakajima, made up of seven islands where mysterious beings called “Mitama” and dragons are rumored to reside.

The story follows the orphan as he embarks on a journey to protect his mystical birthplace.
