Attack on Titan, one of the manga giants, has just finished serialization on 9th April. There is a beeline for the magazine’s issue that featured the final chapter. However, no one could have guessed that printed copies would run out as soon as they hit the market!
It looks like chapter 138’s horrible cliffhanger had left people traumatized as everyone hurried to read chapter 139. I mean, you can’t just kill off a significant character and expect fans to keep calm!
The May issue of the Bessatsu Shounen magazine featured chapter 139 of Attack on Titan manga. The volume got sold out so quickly that it will be getting an “urgent” second print. The new issue will be available from 30th April in Japan.
Attack on Titan’s final volume (Volume 30) will ship on 9th June, and I think we can already foresee how much the volume will be in demand.
Bessatsu magazine has just announced that an interview of Hajime Isayama will be published in the July issue that will be published on 9th June. The issue will also have the illustration of Attack on Titan’s 30th volume.
The creator of Fullmetal Alchemist, Hiromu Arakawa’s, interview will also be published in the same issue.
The manga started serialization over 11 and a half years ago, and its popularity has reached great heights. For a manga as sadistic as this one, it has a pretty huge fanbase. (I am one of those fans too!)
Attack on Titan anime’s Final Season has announced a second cour that will premiere in Winter 2022, starting with Episode 17. Many speculations are going on about a sequel series. A tweet from Bessatsu magazine has fueled the speculations even more.
A long journey concluded with chapter 139. However, you can still stay engaged with the several spinoffs that the series has while waiting for one more glimpse of your beloved characters (who are still alive).
