Episode 8 of Attack on Titan, season 4, part 2, titled “Pride,” is the latest installment of the anime.
This episode brought the leading members of the survey corps and the Marleyans army together. Levi is still alive but suffers from massive injuries. He, along with Hange, allied with Pieck and Magath to stop Eren from trampling over the entire world.
After saving Falco, Armin and Coni found Annie, who shares their goal to save the world. With the best military minds focused on stopping the rumbling, how do they plan on saving Marley and the rest of the world? We’ll find out in the next episode.
Episode 9 Speculation
After the Paradis and Marleyan forces have combined due to similar interests, the real showdown is about to begin. The last of the Wall Titans have just left Paradis, and the true destruction is about to begin. It’s going to be fascinating to see how Hange, Levi, and their allies will try to stop Eren.

This might not be the last time we see Floch and the Jeagerists, though. When Armin and Mikasa were escaping with supplies, someone looked out the window, watching them go.
That person could be Floch because he noticed that Mikasa was missing during Yelena and Onyankopon’s execution.
Also, Levi stated that he still wants to kill Zeke, but we haven’t seen the Beast Titan ever since Eren gained the Founder. According to Hange, he must have been absorbed by Eren, but it’s still possible that he might be fighting his brother in any way he can.

Episode 8 Recap
Hange shoots the Jeagerists who are pursuing her and Levi and tends to his wounds. After Levi heals a little, the two discuss their strategy for the future.
They decided on combining forces with Pieck and Magath since they basically had a common goal. This is when Hange finds the two Marleyans and tries to negotiate.

Theo is skeptical and threatens to shoot Levi, but when the latter shows him his desolate state, he starts to agree. When Levi reinstates his goal of killing Zeke, Magath asks him the Beast Titan’s whereabouts. Hange believes that Eren’s Founding Titan has absorbed Zeke to use his royal blood.
Pieck comments on Hange’s extensive knowledge about the titans and asks her if she has seen the Founder. Hange explains how it is colossal and unlike anything anyone has seen before, so they must work together.
We then cut to Coni and Falco making their way towards Coni’s mom. Falco is suspicious about Coni’s intentions when he sees that they’re in an abandoned village.
He finally remembers that he was friends with Sasha, the girl killed by Gabi. He’s afraid and asks whether Coni is going to take revenge for Sasha’s death.
Coni composes himself and replies that he wants Falco to help him brush his mother’s teeth, who was stuck in her titan form. Just when he’s about to follow Coni, Armin and Gabi catch up with them and warn him against it. Coni then pulls the boy towards him, threatening them to kill him.
Armin climbs on the house as a last resort, ready to jump inside the titan’s open mouth. Just as he jumps, Coni leaves Falco behind and saves Armin. He realizes that turning his mother back into a human would only make her suffer more and apologizes to everyone.
They make their way back to the others and find that people are celebrating Eldia’s victory against the world. Coni tells everyone to eat up and regain their strengths.
Armin tells Coni about how he thinks that Annie’s hardening must have been undone due to Eren’s power and coincidentally stumbles upon the girl. Annie joins them in their quest to stop Eren and leaves behind a note for Hitch.
At the Jeagerists’ fort, we see Floch and his army ready to shoot Yelena. Jean is also standing beside him with his pistol pointing towards Onyankopon.
Before pulling the trigger, Floch asks Onyankopon to join them, but he refuses. Jean then shoots four bullets missing his target and alerting the others to begin their plan.
After the four empty bullets, Pieck rescues Jean, Yelena, Onyankopon, and Mikasa, and the others escape the fortress with some supplies. They meet Levi and the others near a river, ready to put a stop to the rumbling.

The episode ends as Annie kicks Reiner, waking him up. He looks up in terror as he sees Armin, Mikasa, and Coni staring down at him while Falco and Gabi assure him that they’re on his side. Coni then demands that he gets up since they don’t have to save the world.
