Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 Ep 4: Release Date, Speculation

Episode 3 of Attack on Titan season 4 part 2, titled “Two Brothers,” is the latest installment of the anime.

Every episode of Attack on Titan brings us closer to deciphering its enigma. This segment was especially heart-wrenching. Zeke unleashed his powerful scream and turned all those who drank his spinal fluid into titans.

This included beloved characters like commander Pixis and his army. Falco, too, turned into a titan while his brother held him tightly in his arms for the last time.

Gabi witnessed this horror and was once again thrown into the battlefield. She aimed her canon towards Eren that slashed his head, killing him almost instantly.

Still, killing Eren isn’t an easy task, and we see that his consciousness is transferred into the paths’ dimension.

Zeke was waiting for him there, and we finally saw that Eren never truly shared his brother’s ideals.

This didn’t really make Zeke abandon Eren, but now that he had the power of the Founding Titan, will Zeke make his dream come true? We’ll find out in the next episode.

Episode 4 Speculation

In the next episode, we’ll see how Eren comes back to life after his head has just been cut off. His decapitated head fell into Zeke’s hands just before his death, and this transported him to another dimension called paths.

This dimension is home to Ymir, the first Founding Titan who obeys the commands of those with royal blood.

Even though Eren ultimately betrayed his brother, Zeke said that he would still not abandon him. I think he means that he has the power to bring Eren back to life because he also told him that he’s going to fix him.

Another interesting thing that will be explored in the upcoming episode is the consequences of Zeke nullifying the vow renouncing war.

Does this mean that he can also lift the curse of Ymir? Also, there will undoubtedly be more powers waiting to be unlocked now that Zeke possesses the power of the Founding Titan.

Watching Eren struggle, Zeke’s brotherly instincts kick in, and he declares that it is time to unleash the titans. Just as he’s about to scream, Colt rushes to his side with Falco. He begs Zeke to stop until Falco is out of his voice range since he, too, had accidentally drunk his spinal fluid.

Zeke pauses and looks at them. He tells Colt that he empathized with him, and it was a shame that Falco was going to turn into a titan. Zeke screamed at the top of his lungs, activating his spinal fluid.

All the army members, including commander Pixis, turned into mindless maneaters and started devouring the Marleyan army.

Still in his brother’s embrace, Falco turns into a titan in front of Gabi’s eyes. He rushes towards Reiner and starts attacking him. Pieck launches another attack on Zeke among the chaos, and it seems to have finally killed Zeke’s Beast Titan.

Seeing that Zeke was finally dead, Reiner almost gives in to Falco’s attack since he does not want to kill him.

He thinks that letting Falco obtain the Armor Titan would be the best thing for him, but he suddenly faces a dilemma when Eren leaves his Attack Titan and rushes towards Zeke in his human form.

Gilliard then sacrifices himself to save Reiner and reverts back to his human form so that Falco can take his Jaw Titan.

As Eren rushes towards Zeke, who had fooled everyone by deliberately decaying his Beast Titan, Gabi looks at him with a terrified expression. She is armed with a canon which she aims towards Eren. Just when Eren is about to reach Zeke, his head is blown away by Gabi.

Eren’s life flashes before his eyes, and his decapitated head falls into the hands of Zeke. He is then transported to the paths’ dimension, where a chained Zeke waits for him. He tells Eren that they are finally seconds away from achieving their dream.

The original Founder Titan, Ymir, comes to them, and Zeke tells Eren that she will obey their every command. He asks him to command her to euthanize all Eldians.

Eren denies and tells him that he was lying to him all along. He then urges Ymir to lend him her powers, but she ignores him and goes to Zeke instead.

Zeke looks at Eren in disappointment, claiming that their father has brainwashed him. He then tells him that he wanted to know his true intentions and hence put up an act.

Despite his betrayal, Zeke tells Eren that he will not abandon him and will show him a world free of Eldians.
