Attack on Titan’s fourth and final season was announced shortly after its third season finished airing in July 2019. The twisted and dark story of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin is finally coming to an end, and fans couldn’t be more excited for the series finale.
Following the announcement of its delay, a trailer and a key visual for Attack on Titan’s final season was released. Along with this, it is now confirmed that Studio Mappa will be taking over the anime’s production.
Recently it was reported that the fourth and final season of Shingeki no Kyojin has been delayed. While no reason was stated, it is probably because of production delays due to COVID-19.
The final season of Attack on Titan was supposed to be released in Fall 2020.
The trailer has performed exceedingly well to get fans hyped up for the final season. There are many mysteries in this dark and gore-filled anime, and fans couldn’t be more excited to find out the answers to all of them.
Studio MAPPA
Studio WIT was in charge of the anime for its first three seasons, but the fourth season will be animated by Studio Mappa. One of the biggest selling points of Attack on Titan’s anime was its fluid animation that brought its scenes to life.
No AOT fan can ever forget the scene in which Levi single-handedly takes down the Beast Titan. Studio Mappa definitely has a lot to live up to, especially since this is Attack on Titan’s final season.
