3. Episode 4 Recap
The whole Tybur family has arrived to attend the festival held for declaring the war. Willy Tybur, the head of the family, introduces his family to Captain Magath, and reveals that one of them is the War Hammer Titan.
The Episode also reveals that Tybur family controls Marley from the shadows, and Captain Magath is just another puppet in their hands.
Meanwhile, Falco is trying his best to inherit the Armored Titan, thereby saving Gabi from the cursed life of a titan shifter.
Falco even managed to beat Gabi in a race that draws everyone’s attention. However, Gabi gets irritated at Falco’s sudden improvement. Falco blushingly admits that he is doing everything for Gabi and runs away.
It seems Mr. Kruger’s motivational speech has inspired Falco to work harder for his goals. And as a payback to this emotional support, Falco has been sending letters on behalf of him.
As we already know, Mr. Kruger is Eren disguised as an injured soldier. He confronts his own grandfather (father’s side), who tells him about the struggle of the titan shifters and forbade him from asking for any more favors from Falco, as it may endanger the peace the Grice family has been fighting for.
Gabi and her friends are seen enjoying the festival day. The more time Reiner spends with them, the more he gets attached to these budding soldiers who remind him of the friends he lost.
Reiner is like a guardian and is dealing with all the tantrums of those over-enthusiastic kids. The episode ends with Falco taking Reiner to a dark underground room, where he confronts Eren.
