Attack on Titan: The Final season is mainly focusing on Marley’s perspective of the upcoming war, and I have to admit that MAPPA has done a pretty good job till now.
However, Attack on Titan seems incomplete without our very own Survey corps, and fans are eagerly waiting for them to appear again. Let’s just admit that these new faces can never replace the connection we share with the former characters.
On Sunday, the Attack on Titan franchise revealed a key visual for Season 4 that features Eren Yaeger, Levi, Mikasa, Sasha, Hange, Jean, Armin, and Connie.
Fans are quite familiar with the visual because a similar poster was released before Season 4 debuted. Now that Eren is here, the poster finally looks complete.
There are other noticeable things in the visual, including how the teenage heroes have turned into grown-ups in the last four years.
Their Titan killing weapons are expected to improved drastically due to advancements in technology with the knowledge they gained from the world outside the walls.
The new uniform looks a lot cooler and advanced compared to the previous one. Mikasa is seen with a whole new version of Thunder spears, which can launch four hits without reloading.
Episode 4 revealed that Eren had infiltrated Marley disguised as a wounded soldier. His transformation from an annoying brat to a cool-headed adult has surprised the fans.
The franchise has already come-up with Eren’s character design in Season 4.
For the fans who are eagerly waiting for Reiner’s unimaginable reunion, you all have to wait a little longer since the anime will be on a break next week.
Attack on Titan Final Season Episode 5 will be released on Sunday, January 10, 2021. This one-week break is more like a calm before the storm hits because Episode 5 will be a jaw-dropping experience for all the fans.
Meanwhile, MAPPA has also delayed Cour 2 of its other fan-favorite anime, Jujutsu Kaisen, to January 15.
Basically, MAPPA is taking a break from its tight schedule, and fans are totally convinced that the upcoming content will be worth this wait.
