Attack On Titan Season 4 Episode 11: Release Date, Preview And Discussion

Episode 10 showed us how Eren is slowly getting distant from his friends, to an extent where most of them consider him a threat.

Armin and Mikasa decided to have a talk with him before they were forced to make a bold move against him.

The episode kept swinging from past incidents to present incidents like a pendulum, disclosing to us the web of conspiracies and dirty politics that will result in another war between Marley and Paradis.

Can Mikasa and Armin knock some sense into Eren? Or is it too late to talk it out? We bring you the latest episode updates for this anime.

1. Episode 11 Preview and Speculations

In the preview, Falco and Gabi escape from the prison. With no other place to go, they find shelter on Mr Blouse’s farm. However, they won’t be revealing their true identity, and that’s the reason why the episode is titled “Imposters.”

Staying under the same shelter and sharing the same food with the enemy may make Gabi question her own notions about the Paradis people. She may finally realize that all Paradis people aren’t devils.

Sooner or later, Mr Blouse will find out that Gabi is the one who killed Sasha. We know that he is a generous person, but how will he react to confronting his daughter’s murderer?       

2. Episode 11 Release Date    

Episode 11 of the Attack on Titan: The Final Season, titled “Impostors,” will be released on Sunday, February 21, 2021. Since this anime runs on a weekly schedule, new episode releases are seven days apart.

Episode 11 of Attack on Titan: The Final Season will be released as per schedule. No such delay has been announced.    

3. Episode 10 Recap 

Episode 10 starts with Eren getting more and more impatient behind the bars. He even lays his hand on Hange after a heated-up argument between them.

This makes Hange wonder if Erwin’s decision of making her the Commander was a right one.

I. Kiyomi’s Visit to Paradis   

Then we see flashbacks from the day when Kiyomi Azumabito visited the Paradis island two years ago. She shows Mikasa a royal insignia consisting of three swords, same as the one she bears on her wrist.

Kiyomi identifies Mikasa as the lost descendant of Hizuru’s royal family. Thus, Historia is relieved to see someone else who has born with huge responsibilities upon her shoulders.

But it seems meeting Mikasa was just an excuse for Kiyomi, she wants to get her hands on the reserves of ‘Ice-burst stone,’ the gas that acts as fuel for the ODM gears.

It is an invaluable natural resource that isn’t available outside Paradis, and getting their hands on it will provide massive industrial benefits to the Hizuru nation.

II. Zeke’s Plan to Protect Paradis

Kiyomi explains Zeke’s plan to protect Marley, which can be divided into three parts. The first step includes running a test Rumbling that will show the world the extent of its power.

This test Rumbling will give Paradis enough time to strengthen its military. With Hizuru’s cooperation, the Paradisian military will reach a stage where the threat of Rumbling is no longer necessary.

Lastly, Zeke would pass on the Beast Titan to someone of royal blood, who will have to bear as many children as possible before the 13-year term ends.

However, Eren is strictly against the idea of breeding Titan-holders like livestock.

III. Hizuru Contract Fails

The Survey Corps look for an alternative way to avoid rumbling and save Historia. But Hizuru’s reply to that wasn’t a satisfying one for Paradis.

Hizuru’s real motive is to monopolize Paradis’ resources instead of letting them trade with other nations. This would eventually result in the whole world turning against Paradis and considering them as devils.

Such a contract is unacceptable for Paradis. Thus, they have no other option but to ultimately sacrifice Historia.

IV. Historia Gets Pregnant

Paradis has no other option but to rely on Rumbling for survival, but Zeke Yeager is too grey a personality to be trusted with this vital role. So, the initial plan was to let Historia inherit the Beast Titan.

But that isn’t possible anymore because Historia is seen pregnant, and is in no condition to inherit a Titan. Don’t worry, Eren isn’t the father, it’s a farmer from the village in which she grew up.

Now, we still don’t know if it was her own decision or just a part of a conspiracy to prevent her from inheriting a titan. Her eyes look cold as if she has lost everything in her life, and it’s still very unclear what really happened to her.

Back in a farmhouse, few Eldian officers discuss about Historia pregnancy and how it delayed the inheriting of the Beast Titan. One of them calls a Marleyan for more wine.

On his way to the storeroom, he meets Nicolo, who shows him a bottle of wine and asks if it is the one.

Meanwhile, the Survey Corps are finding it hard to trust Eren anymore. They consider Eren responsible for Sasha’s death and placing Paradis in a vulnerable situation where the whole world is against them.

Mikasa and Armin decide to talk with Eren before the situation goes out of control.
