Episode 3 of Assault Lily: Bouquet revealed the reason behind Yuyu’s stone-hearted nature.

It tells us about the traumas embedded within her and her failures, how she lost her Schuzengel when she lost control over her ability in a fight against the Huges.

She didn’t want to accept anyone as a schild, because she was afraid of losing control again. However, Riri understands Yuyu, and she won’t give up on Yuyu that easily.

It seems Yuyu has changed a little as well after she met Riri. How will this relationship between Schuzengel and schild turn out? Will the outcome be different from that of the last time when someone trusted Yuyu?

In Episode 4, we will get to see more fights between Huge and Lilies. Yuyu, who was trying to push Riri away, will finally be able to connect with her.

Riri will change Yuyu’s heart, slowly Yuyu will turn back to the person who she once was. We will also see Riri training hard to get used to her Charm’s ability.

3. Episode 3 Recap

Riri finally gets Yuyu as her Schuzengel, it’s like a dream coming true for her. We get to know about Yuyu’s Rare Skill, Lunatic Trancer.

The episode introduces us to “Yoshimura Thi Mai” of the second year. She was amazed to see how Riri managed to win over Yuyu’s heart.

Meanwhile, a Huge triggered Yurigaoka Girl’s Academy’s defence mechanism, which is also the front line against the Huge. The Lilies created a Magie sphere by passing it and smashed it to the Huge, the Neuwelt tactic.

Yuyu trains Riri to use her Charm and focus her Magie into the Charm. The training was awfully rough, so Kaede protested against it.

Riri stood up on her legs and asked Yuyu to go on. By the end of the training, Riri was covered with bruises that needed to be treated.

With training, Riri keeps improving, and it’s finally the time when Riri faces a Huge for the first time. Yuyu tells Riri to stay back and watch. She faces the Huge all alone.

Charms of the Lilies who have lost their lives reminded Yuyu of her Schuzengel, who died in a Huge attack. Yuyu unleashes her rare skill, Lunatic Trancer.

In this state, Yuyu loses her reasoning ability and attacks both friends and foes, until her Megie gets exhausted.

Riri jumps into the battle to save Yuyu. Their Charms strike each other, which brings back Yuyu’s sanity. Riri and Yuyu defeat the Huge with a Magie Sphere.

Later, Yuyu takes Riri to the grave of her Schuzengel, Misuzu, who died due to Yuyu’s ability of Lunatic Trancer, during a Huge attack

The Assault Lily Project is a mixed-media franchise. It is based on action dolls figures of a 1/12th scale. These action figures were conceived by the doll maker Azone International and the ACUS creative group in 2013.

The anime occurs in the near future where humanity is threatened by mysterious creatures known as “Huge.”

In an attempt to train a unit against these creatures, the government creates specialized military academies known as “Gardens” that train girls known as “Lilies.”

Lilies wield weapons made from a combination of science and magic called CHARM (Counter Juge Arms). These CHARM wilding girls protect the Earth from this mysterious threat.
