Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR Gameplay, Launch & More at Ubisoft Forward

Back in 2020, Ubisoft had announced a new VR game based on Assassin’s Creed. It will be the first game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise to be playable in virtual reality. It was announced alongside the now-canceled Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell VR for the Meta Quest VR headset.

Meta Quest Games Showcase has revealed the new name for the much-awaited Assassin’s Creed VR which is now called Assassin’s Creed Nexus. The title will get a full reveal at the Ubisoft Forward scheduled on June 12th.

Not much information is available other than the new name for the Assassin’s Creed VR. It looks like fans will have to wait for a couple of days for more news.

Assassin’s Creed Nexus is a part of the several games included in the Assassin’s Creed IP. Ubisoft is simultaneously developing the upcoming title along with four major releases including Assassin’s Creed Mirage and a mobile game.

According to the teaser trailer for Ubisoft Forward, the showcase will be primarily focused on Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and The Crew Motorfest. All these games have dedicated screen time in the teaser trailer.
