Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was released in 2020. Since then, the developers have rolled out regular updates, even introducing large-scale DLC such as the Dawn of Ragnarok.
Ubisoft has announced the details for the next patch 1.6.1 of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which includes bug fixes, new in-game content, and more.
The update will go live on September 27th. Earlier, players had reported their game crashed after installing the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC. The new patch will resolve this issue.
After adding patch 1.6.1, players will also be getting the new settlement building in Eivor’s village, Ravensthorpe, which will allow Eivor to use perks to upgrade his weapons to valuable runes. However, the Rune Forge can only be accessed after the town is upgraded to level 4.
The Tombs of the Fallen DLC, which was released in November last year, will also be wrapped up in the update. It introduced three caves allowing players to channel their inner Indiana Jones. Three more tombs filled with traps and puzzles will be added, which will eventually lead to a hidden civilization.
Valhalla will also bring back the famous Wild Hunt Festival for the last time. Players will fight to protect their settlement from malicious spirits in the quest to unlock new items.
Patch 1.6.1 will be the last major update for AC Valhalla before the focus shifts to Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Ubisoft has announced Mirage is scheduled to release in 2023. It will begin a new phase for the Assassin’s Creed franchise with project Infinity.
