Ascendance of a Bookworm, the anime which made us see the wonderful world of knowledge a book holds, is coming back soon.
The anime is based on a light novel of the same name written by Miya Kazuki. The light novel has sold off more than 4 million copies, which just shows us how strong of a foundation the anime has.
The anime made its debut in October 2019 after which it just kept winning hearts with its amazing storyline and characters. The first season had 14 episodes, while season 2 had 12 episodes which just felt so short as it was too good of a series.
The last season ended in June 2020 with “to be continued”. The following month, the production team announced a season 3 for Ascendance of a Bookworm.
It was just a matter of time that we got confirmation of when our favourite Myne is coming back in action with her creative ideas.

Ascendance of a Bookworm is a Japanese fantasy light novel series written by Miya Kazuki and illustrated by Yū Shiina. It was serialized online between September 2013 and March 2017 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro.
Urano Mototsu, a bibliophile and soon-to-be librarian, dies in an unfortunate accident. With her dying breath, she wishes to read books in her next life. Urano awakens in the body of a weak, five-year-old girl named Myne, the daughter of a poor soldier.
Her love for books follows her in this new life as well. However, Myne is reborn in a world where books are scarce and only available to elites. She decides to use her memories from her previous life to create and print books to read again.
