Myne’s prowess over magic has only increased in the last two seasons of Ascendance of a Bookworm. With season 3 on the radar in 2022, Myne needs to be extra careful if she wants to protect her family.
In the upcoming season, the demand for our protagonist will increase while all she is interested in are books and more books.
Season 3 of Ascendance of a Bookworm will be released in April 2022. Crunchyroll had streamed the previous two seasons of the anime and is likely to stream the next as well.
A new trailer highlights Myne’s small family, which has grown during her absence. So, who is this new family member?
The teaser is narrated by Yuka Iguchi, Myne’s voice actress, introducing the character she plays. Immediately afterward, we are shown Kamil, the new baby brother of Myne.
We can see her gushing over the cute child while struggling to hold a newborn baby.
Although Myne knows about the dangers strewn on her path, she gains confidence after seeing Kamil and swears to protect her family.
All the staff and cast members from the previous seasons will reprise their roles in the next part of the anime. The only new additions to the staff include:

Kazuhiko Inoue will also join the cast as the new character, Sylvester. He has also previously voiced Kakashi Hatake in Naruto, Nyanko-sensei in Natsume Yujin-Cho, and other characters.
Myne’s next goal in the anime will be to solve all the issues with the printing process so that the prices of books can be brought down and distribution could be increased.
Unbeknownst to her, some people are already plotting to take over her powers. Will she have to leave her family and get a new identity again? I hope season 3 gives Myne the quality family time she deserves.

Ascendance of a Bookworm is a Japanese fantasy light novel series written by Miya Kazuki and illustrated by Yū Shiina. It was serialized online between September 2013 and March 2017 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro.
Urano Mototsu, a bibliophile and soon-to-be librarian, dies in an unfortunate accident. With her dying breath, she wishes to read books in her next life. Urano awakens in the body of a weak, five-year-old girl named Myne, the daughter of a poor soldier.
Her love for books follows her in this new life as well. However, Myne is reborn in a world where books are scarce and only available to elites. She decides to use her memories from her previous life to create and print books to read again.
