Episode 2 of Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest Season 2 starts with Hajime and the gang driving into the beautiful but desolate dukedom of Ankaji. They meet the duke, who tells them about how the water is making them sick.
Kaori gets to healing the sick in no time. The rest of the group goes off with the duke, and Yue creates a large water reservoir with magic. It exhausts her, so she’s back to sucking Hajime’s blood.
As they arrive at the oasis, Hajime drops a grenade into the water. Nothing happens, so he drops a few more. Purple tentacles come out of the water and attack them. Will Hajime be able to tackle the monster?

Episode 3 Speculations
Yue exhausted herself, using magic to build a reservoir for the people of Ankaji. She immediately proceeds to use Hajime as a juice box, but then she starts kissing him too.
Myu later asks Hajime if he will kiss Kaori like he did Yue. She even went so far as to say that she wants to kiss papa too, that was gross and suspicious.
In the end, we see Hajime, apparently being obliterated by a strange light beam. Is Hajime dead? Most probably not, he must’ve moved out of the way before it hit him.

Episode 2 Recap
The heroes arrive at Ankaji, a beautiful dukedom, and meet the duke himself. The duke takes them to the sanatorium, where people are dying from a strange sickness. Kaori gets to saving those people immediately.
The rest of the group goes elsewhere, and Yue uses her magic to dig a reservoir in the ground. She also makes water appear out of thin air and fills the pool. She felt weak after the magic, which drained her energy.
The duke took them to the oasis, and Hajime threw a grenade into the water. Nothing happened, so he threw a bunch of grenades into it. Purple tentacles came out of the water, and the girls took care of it.
The creature comes out of the water, and it looks like a purple blob. Hajime kills it, but the water is still toxic. They assure the duke the water will be drinkable soon as the source has been removed.
They’re heading out to the Gruen volcano to find some stillstone for the duke. As they head in, they find a labyrinth and, in it, a fiery-bull creature. Yue attacks it, and Hajime shoots it in the end.
As they climb in further, the heat rises, and everyone but Tio feels uncomfortable. Yue asks Hajime to wipe down her sweat for her.
They get to the base of the labyrinth and find an island surrounded by lava, full of mana crystals. As they try to reach over, monster snakes appear out of the lava. They defeat a hundred of them, but as Hajime is about to get to the base, a beam shines on him, and Yue cries out in shock.
