The agents are tasked with recovering a magnetic device that was stolen by some Swiss agents to wipe bank data in the Cayman Islands. Fabian puts Figgins in charge, which predictably goes very wrong.
Archer is heavily drunk throughout the mission and somehow comes out completely unharmed while the other agents suffer several injuries. Eventually, they are able to destroy the device.

Archer will attempt to seek out professional help but the IIA’s health plan may not align with his interests.
We can also expect to see more of Pam’s excellent leadership and quick thinking during dangerous missions. However, it is unlikely that Fabian will put her in charge.

5. Episode 4 Recap
Fabian tells the agents about their newest assignment. They have to recover one of Krieger’s devices, called the Magnetic Pulse Generator, from some Swiss secret agents who plan to use it to wipe bank records in the Cayman Islands.
If the Swiss agents succeed in their mission, it would put the IIA in a severe financial crisis and possibly lead to a global war. Agent Figgis is put in charge of the mission.
Predictably, the mission doesn’t go as planned and the Swiss agents immediately overpower Figgis and the other agents. Pam takes over and gets the mission back on track. Things go south when Archer tries to disarm the device but ends up activating it.
