Anime adaptations of video games have been an age-old tradition in the Japanese animation industry.
Linden film recently began streaming a promotional video for its new anime adaptation of AradSenki on its YouTube channel.
The new adaptation titled “Arad: Gyakuten no Gear (Arad: Reversal of Fate)” will premiere on TV Tokyo on July 3, 2020.
Although Tencent has streamed seven episodes of the series in China since April 23, it will receive its anime premiere on July 3.
Along with the release date, the promotional video on the LINDENFILMS YouTube channel also revealed the staff and cast for the series.
Noriyuki Abe will be directing the series, with Mayori Sekijima, in charge of overseeing the series composition. Mayori Sekijima will also be responsible for scripting the show along with Aoi Akashiro.
The show will receive its character designs from Satoshi Kimura and creature designs from Raita Sunaga (Kokkoku). Stray Cats has been chosen as the band for the music production of the series.
The series will comprise of well-known voice actors:
- Yuki Ono as Wang Tiancai
- Kouki Uchiyama as Lucas Yi
- Yumiri Hanamori as Miria
- Takayuki Kondou as Miran
- Yui Ishikawa as Iris
- Rie Takahashi as Meimei
- Ryōta Suzuki as Eight
- Shū Uchida as Xiaofang
The anime announced by the Chinese company Tencent, Taiwanese company Friendly Land, and LIDEN FILMS at a commemorative event for the game’s 10th anniversary was slated to release in 2019.

Arad: Gyakuten no Gear (Arad: Reversal of Fate) is an anime adaptation of the online RPG game titled “Arad Senki.” The anime features a protagonist who has slipped back in time to the Arad continent.
Its protagonist will meet legendary heroes and experience historical events first hand. It is a story where the past and the future intersect, and adventure through space and time.
