Marvel Studio’s Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is still more than a year away, but it’s never too early to get people hyped up about it.
Evangeline Lilly, who plays Hope van Dyne aka the Wasp in the MCU, has teased that the upcoming film is going to be the best one in the trilogy yet.
While talking to The Digital Fix, Lilly talked about what went into the filming process and all the challenges faced due to the pandemic,
We finished filming at the end of November, and I think, hands down, it was the hardest one we’ve made. It was the most difficult. It was the only one we’ve made during the Covid lockdowns. That just adds such an incredible complication to making a movie. It adds a lot of stress. It makes things very impersonal because you can’t see faces.

Of course, as Marvel is very strict about leaks and spoilers, Lilly didn’t reveal much about the plot, but she added,
But I actually think…what we did, the stuff we shot, the material we managed to get, I think it might be the best one yet.

Both the Ant-Man films have had good ratings and reception, being one of MCU’s less serious and more comedic titles.
Not much is known about the threequel’s plot except that the tiny heroes will explore the Quantum Realm further and use more of Pym-tech. There have been speculations of Cassie joining Scott and Hope on their adventures and ultimately transforming into Stature/Stinger like the comics.
Earlier in December, Bill Murray confirmed that he was entering the MCU as a “bad guy” with Ant-Man 3. When asked about what kind of superpowers he’d have in the film during his appearance on The Eli Manning Show, Murray joked,
My power is, I’m a bad guy.

However, that was all he revealed about Quantumania before moving on to the next question. As we know, Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror will be the primary villain; it is uncertain where Murray’s mystery character would come into play.
