Ever since the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen concluded in March, fans have been left wanting for more. The anime is known for its animation, character building, action scenes and more.
However, if there is one underrated aspect of it then that would be the soundtracks. From my perspective, the theme songs of Jujutsu Kaisen are worth listening to. In fact, I’m currently obsessed with ALI’s Lost in Paradise!
For those of you who can’t get enough of Jujutsu Kaisen’s awesome soundtracks, an excellent piece of news has arrived!
On March 1st TOHO Animation announced that they would release the official soundtrack to Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen on 21st April 2021. It packs Okehazamas in a total of 60 tracks across a two-disc set.
The soundtrack for the Jujutsu Kaisen anime will be released in North America, Europe, and Oceania on the same day it will launch in Japan on April 21st. The company will also release the OST on Vinyls and CDs in the fourth quarter of 2021.
The tracklist for the upcoming CD release is yet to be revealed, so we don’t know what songs will be included along with the fantastic opening and ending tracks.
A unique illustration by the series director Sunghoo Park is featured on the OST jacket. It shows Itadori Yuuji and Ryomen Sukuna side by side. A special sticker of the illustration will be distributed with every purchase.
The Jujutsu Kaisen official OST will be available through the TOHO animation STORE. The Jujutsu Kaisen anime OST will cost ¥3,300 or roughly $30.
All the 60 tracks will also be available to stream or download on Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, iTunes, Spotify, Tidal, and YouTube music, with availability depending on territories. The company will reveal more information at a future date.
International fans can use Amazon JP to order the OST, while those in Japan can find it on AmiAmi, Rakuten, and Tower Records.
Season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen ended its last episode on 27th March. However, fans will not have to lament too much since the series is receiving a movie soon!
Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School will be based on Jujutsu Kiasen’s prequel manga! The manga’s end is nowhere nearby and fans have a long time to cherish the wonderful series.
