Star Wars is one of those legendary franchises that needs no introduction. In its next step to fame, Star Wars will be joining hands with some of the best Japanese studios to enter a new realm with the series.
Even if you haven’t watched Star Wars, there is no way that you haven’t come across the Yoda memes. The series has a long-lasting effect in every possible media and its venture towards a new media type shows the series’ spirit to experiment.
Anime Expo Lite 2021 announced that they will feature a sneak preview into Star Wars: Visions, an upcoming anthology of animated shorts by the best anime creators.
The exciting sneak preview will be hosted on 3rd July 2021 at 3:00 PM PST for 30 minutes. The series will debut later this year on Disney+.
The franchise will thus return with a fresh perspective into the elaborate universe of Star Wars. Ten different visions from anime masterminds will be portrayed in Visions and we can’t wait to see the fresh depictions with their own twists!
Ronin, an upcoming canon novel, will also tie into one of the shorts!

As we have already informed you, Anime Expo Lite 2021 will be held from 3rd to 4th July with a ticket price of $5 each. After the live-stream, the event will be available on a VOD basis from 5th to 16th July.
Anime Expo Lite has been taking every possible step to ensure that no one wants to miss this year’s online streaming event. With panels hosting J-Novel Club, Trese, and several other events lined up, the convention will be one of a kind.

Star Wars is a space opera franchise created by George Lucas. It all started off in 1977 with its very first film. The series has branched out into several media including tv series, video games, comics, and novels to name a few.
The film is focused on an era where humans co-existed with other species as well as robots. The original film covers the story of Luke Skywalker who is caught in the conflict between the Empire and Rebellion.
In 2021, the franchise released the Star Wars: Visions project which has an anthology of animated shorts from different Japanese anime studios.
