Anime Expo Lite is leaving no stones unturned to give fans the most exquisite online anime convention ever! This time, the event will be holding a special panel for none other than the bomb Netflix series, Trese.
Trese, the Philippine-based anime series, has taken the world by storm after its Netflix release this month. The badass supernatural detective, Trese, has gained her own fandom with a dish of edgy, goth set up on the side!
Anime Expo Lite 2021 live stream event will be held from 3rd to 4th July. For those who can’t attend the event, the whole program will be available from 5th to 16th July 2021 on a VOD basis.
A special creator panel is available with the VOD arrangement that hosts the Trese series. The panel will be hosted by the publisher of Trese’s graphic novel series, ABLAZE.
Trese’s original graphic novel creator and illustrator, Budjette Tan and KaJO Baldisimo. Rich Young, the series’ director will also be available with the executive producer and the co-founder of ABLAZE.
Tickets to this year’s Anime Expo Lite will be available for $5 each and all proceeds will be donated to the Hate Is A Virus commUNITY Action Fund. With 2021 marking the 30th anniversary of America’s biggest anime convention, there might be even more surprises waiting to unfold.
Anime Expo Lite is also hosting a J-Novel Club panel where fans are allowed to ask questions to the creators!

The series is based in the capital region of the Philippines. It delves into a world where all the creatures from Philippine horror mythology exist.
Alexandra Trese is a supernatural detective who deals with the issues caused by these creatures to keep mankind safe.
