Kapibara-san will begin broadcast on TV Tokyo on October 9th, 2020. It will also be broadcast on TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Satouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TV Kyushu on Fridays during the 7:30 pm time slot.
Tomohiro Tsukimisato is directing the series, and Shin-Ei Animation and Lesprit will be doing the animation. Tryworks created the original character design under Bandai Spirits.
