Preparations are underway to break Pope out of prison and everything seems to be going according to plan. During a visit, J sneakily gives Pope a tracker, which he later implants in his gut. Meanwhile, Craig and Deran try to enjoy their final couple of days in Oceanside and go to the beach.
In a shocking turn of events, it is revealed that J was actually double-crossing his uncles. He manipulates Penny into changing one of the pre-notarized documents of the trust. He would now have permanent access to the funds.
Then, a flashback scene reveals the extent of Smurf’s cruelty towards Julia. She kicked her daughter out of the house and made sure that Baz wouldn’t help her when she would inevitably ask for help. With no other options and no roof over her head, Julia spiraled further into her drug addiction.
