Among Us is all set to receive a new map soon! Apart from being on what appears to be another spaceship, the screenshot shared by the game’s official Twitter handle also shows one of the characters sporting a stylish monocle. What’s more to ask for?!
This was part of the celebration for Among Us finally having its own official Twitter account, which, up until now, was pretty much non-existent. Here’s hoping that they can steer clear of the dark and cancerous side of Twitter!

Also, it’s clearly visible that Among Us is going to be making an appearance during the upcoming Game Awards, possibly to show off more of what’s to come to the game. Not to mention, it has also been put for two prizes: For the best multiplayer game and the best mobile game.
But the game has certainly come very far. From being a simple social stealth game with humble beginnings back in 2018 to becoming one of the biggest things of gaming in 2020, Among Us has undoubtedly become a cultural phenomenon.
Not to mention, the monumental success of the game also led to a slew of clones and rip-offs like Killer Among Us (Yeah, that’s the name of the game so creatively set) and the Chinese version Werewolf Among Us, another extra creative name for what’s basically ripping off Among Us.
I believe it’s the simple yet approachable concept of Among Us that has helped it retain so much popularity.
It’s so simple – just get a basic understanding of what the Crewmates are supposed to do and what the imposter must strive to accomplish, and you’re good to go!
Plus, it’s one of the best games to play with your friends; you know, those fellow human beings you probably haven’t seen in ages due to the ongoing pandemic? Yeah, them.
Anyhow, it’s certainly a delight to see this game grow in popularity, with the developers working hard to keep the game as fresh as ever! That said, let’s hope that some good stuff awaits us at The Game Awards as well!

Developed and published by American game studio InnerSloth, Among Us is a multiplayer social deduction game. It was released for iOS, Microsoft Windows, Android on June 15th, 2018.
The game takes place in a spaceship with up to ten crewmates and a predetermined number of imposters. The crewmates are tasked with completing their missions and ultimately identifying the imposter, whereas the latter sabotages the ship and kills the crewmates sneakily.
