Bo Hopkins, the 84-year-old actor who made waves in American cinema with his iconic role of Joe Young in American Graffiti, passed away on May 9.
Hopkins’ wife, Susan, told The Hollywood Reporter about the actor’s demise on May 28. She detailed that the actor passed away after suffering a heart attack. He was pronounced dead at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys.
