The AMD Radeon RX 7600 is AMD’s upcoming GPU with a Navi 33 XL GPU. It is equipped with 32 CUs, 2048 SPs, and an 8GB GDDR6 memory capacity. The premium GPU is expected to take on NVIDIA’s RTX 4060. After a long wait, AMD has finally announced the last detail.
AMD has officially revealed the MSRP for the upcoming RX 7600 GPUs with a last-minute price change to 269 USD. This news has been shared to retailers and press alike. The graphics card was earlier priced at 299 USD.
The RX 7600 is backed up with the latest RDNA3 graphics architecture. It uses the same silicon used in powerful graphics cards like the RX 7600M or the RX 7700S. Despite housing more transistors, the Navi 33 is at least 14% smaller than the Navi 23 die.
The reference RX 7600 model has a 2250 MHz game clock and a 2625 MHz boost clock. Compared to the RX 6600, that’s a 10% and 5% increase, respectively.
As per leaked tests, the RX 7600 is up to 36% faster than the previous-gen Radeon RX 6600. However, the graphics card is expected to deliver a performance similar to the NVIDIA RTX 3060 12GB at 1080p.
AMD:
“The Radeon RX 7600 will now be available starting at an SEP of $269 USD, beginning on May 25.”
Scheduled for launch on May 25th, the AMD Radeon RX 7600 will finally be put to the test against NVIDIA’s Ada Lovelace based RTX 4060 series. Although synthetic benchmark tests were ruled in the RTX 4060’s favor, it will be interesting to see how the RX 7600 plays out.
