AMD’s EPYC 9000 “Genoa” series features several core configurations such as 96, 340348, 48, 32, 24, and 16 cores. The SKUs are developed using AMD’s next-gen Zen 4 architecture. The total cache for the different variants ranges from 384MB to 64MB.
Twitter user @yuuki_ans has unveiled the AMD EPYC 9000 “Genoa” Series featuring Zen 4 cores.
The leak revealed the specs for AMD’s 4th Gen EPYC CPUs, such as the proper name, core count, clock speeds, cache capacity, and TDP. Almost 18 models have been confirmed for the lineup. While some are production-ready, others are in an engineering state.
The EPYC 9654P SKU features 96 Cores and 192 threads. Its frequency ranges from 2.0 to 2.15 GHz, while its TDP is the default 360W. However, there is an engineering sample with a TDP of 400W.
The EPYC 9174F SKU will feature the highest clock frequency, up to 3.8 GHz. It will require 320W TDP.
The Genoa processors will feature a new socket interface called SP5. AMD’s EPYC Milan range will be the last series to support the SP3 socket. The new socket will increase power limits. However, the default TDP for the Genoa SKUs will be 360W.
